A former Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) principal researcher was sent to prosecutors over allegations that she removed research equipment and files without authorization. Daejeon police said she entered KARI’s main building with her husband on a weekend about two weeks before her retirement and carried out a research computer, monitors and other items.

The reported materials allegedly included files containing core satellite technology, while the former researcher moved to a university after leaving KARI.
