SK Planet detected abnormal external access to its Gifticon service at 6:40 p.m. on October 28 and blocked it, while some users’ names, phone numbers, email addresses, coupon serial numbers and refund account details are believed to have been exposed.
The company is conducting a detailed investigation to determine the affected users and the precise scope of the incident. The number of affected people and whether the information was misused have not been confirmed.
