South Korea is unusually rich in accessible mountain landscapes, from granite ridges above major cities to long national-park routes, volcanic peaks and forested valleys.

This collection focuses on places where walking or climbing through the landscape is central to the experience. Forests, wetlands and stand-alone geological landmarks have their own collections when hiking is not the main reason to go.
